If the welcome screen showing the publishers database cycle date shows garbled data (see below) you should download and run ppjul04.exe .

Please note that only the database cycle date is garbled. The integrity of the data is not affected.

NBEXPORT v 1.02

This requires ProPlan v5.4 or higher. NBEXPORT v1.02 adds support for MGL colour EFIS systems

ProPlan latest GPS interface version 5.41

Latest ProPlan GPS interface for Garmins.
 
GPSUP.ZIP contains 2 files, GPSUP.exe and USB520.exe. Both these files need to be in your ProPlan directory. You also need to install the USB drivers supplied by Garmin with your 96 / 96C / 296 / 495 / 496/ 695. This is a beta version and contains one or two cosmetic problems but to the best of our knowledge the actual working of the programme is without problems. To use the USB interface please click on the "configure" button in the upload screen and select USB. Before attempting to upload data to your GPSMAP please ensure the unit is switched on - it may seem obvious but if you don't you may end up with a frozen PC which requires a re-start :(

GPX export - The latest version of ProPlan ( 5.40 ) includes an option to export a route in the popular GPX format. This format is supported by, amongst others, the Garmin AERA series. To use this function with the AERA series you will need to place a micro-SD card in the GPS card slot ( in the battery compartment of the AERA series). To use the export module you must have ProPlan version 5.40 or higher.

ProPlan/QuickPlan correction of magnetic variation

There is a change in magnetic variation of 1 degree every five to seven years. The magnetic variation in Europe is stored in the NBVAR.IMG file in your ProPlan/QuickPlan directory. If you have the feeling that your NavBox variation needs an update, this program will add or subtract one degree in your NBVAR.IMG file. Please copy NEWVAR.EXE to your ProPlan/QuickPlan directory and execute it.
