If you have an Internet database update subscription (EUR 29,50 / GBP
17,50 per year), you may download the latest database every month from this
page.
All FIR boundaries, airspace, VFR transit routes and waypoints will be
replaced by new ones, except for your home-made temporary or user waypoints.
To prevent errors during the update process, make sure the number you type
in below is the registration number of your current and registered QuickPlan
package in the format xxxx-xxxx-xxxx (don't forget the dashes).
The database comes as a one-piece EXE file. (Its name reflects the current
month and year. Example: QPjan02.exe holds the QuicPlan database for January
2002.) Download it to the directory or disk of your choice. Then close all
Windows programs (especially virus scanners running in the background) and
run the EXE file. The program will assume your QuickPlan directory to be
C:\Program Files\QP50. If you have installed your QuickPlan in a different
directory, you will have the option to browse and enter this directory
manually.
When finished, start QuickPlan and check the date under 'Help | About NavBox
QuickPlan' to see if the update was successful.
